Be careful. I have been installing software on computers for over 30 years. This is the first time that installation stopped and told me that there was a problem. It put up support numbers to call depending on what part of the world you were in. Someone with a very foreign accent answered quickly.

Right away he mentioned that the Mac that I was installing it on probably had a virus that was preventing the installation. He convinced me to load a program that would allow him to control the computer. I was familiar with the program so reluctantly went forward. He said that he was a level 6 Apple tech. He proceeded to zoom around showing me active threads and areas of foreign web addresses.

He sounded convincing. Then he created a list of things he could do to clean up the computer, install the program, and maintain the computer. I started to get a scammed feeling. I asked how much this would cost. He had tiered pricing. I said that I felt uncomfortable and declined. I didn’t know if I would be returning the program, if I would try to install it through Microsoft and get told that the key code was bogus or what.

First I downloaded a free trial of Avast and ran it. It showed no significant problems with the computer. Then I downloaded Malwarebytes and it found the same.

I went to Microsoft site and logged in. Found the spot to download the program if I had a key code. I put in the key code and it accepted it and proceeded to load the program without a hitch. This whole process took hours. I bought the higher priced product from Amazon to Avoid problems. Great seller. Some issues but they took care of them in a few hours after delivering the same day! I see a lot of negative comments here. I have not had an issue activating and installing on my customer computer and have bought many of these for my customers.

Best investment I have made so far this year. I prefer digital delivery but the customer like having a physical card as proof it was purchased. One person found this helpful. And both times, only the empty box with the Microsoft key has arrived with instructions on how to get it from the web. False advertising at its worst!!! They give you a phone number to call, which I was thrilled about, which is only a message that explains that everything has moved on line, good-bye!

I looked through the entire package but could not find. I sent the product back for refund but unsure if that will happen. I have no way to prove that I didn’t keep the key card so I’m probably screwed.

I will gladly remove this review if I receive what I paid for. The box was empty; there was nothing inside it. I expected an installation CD or flash drive I returned the empty box. Installed Office Pro instead I was very, very skeptical at first, thinking the Product Key wouldn’t work. I called Microsoft, and they told me that they won’t support me if I purchased it thru a 3rd party. It turns out that the product did launch, and when I called Microsoft back, they supported me without a problem.

I am used to MS Office Outlook. So there is no other way but to pay. The fact that it is tied to 1 computer only just makes it even worse – you replace your computer, and you have to pay for another copy. The only way out is to buy Microsoft stock.
