If you prefer not to show your actual background while on a call, consider using virtual backgrounds in Zoom. Please see the end of the email for key points to consider in order to have the best results while using virtual backgrounds in Zoom. Then, either select an image from the options already shown, or click on the plus-sign icon to add a new image from your computer. See steps 7 and 8 above if you would like to add a new image. I set a background image, but when someone sent me a meeting link and I joined the meeting, it was gone. Was I supposed to do something before clicking on the meeting link? Sorry, but I’m not good with technology and this is all new to me. Hi JudyCl , and welcome to the Zoom Community!
The steps for changing your background image are outlined here. The question is, when uploading images to use for the background image, are the images stored or deleted after ending the zoom meeting? I uploaded a few images to use in future meetings and they were all gone as well as all but two of the zoom original eight when I opened zoom again.
It was already set and I confirmed that it was working before the meeting. So I’m guessing it must have something to do with clicking the link to the meeting. Is there another step? Zoom Community.
